New nanodvr crashes all the time!! $$£%$£^%$!!

I installed the new nanodvr after reading a post here a short while ago and everytime i start recording with it now it crashes within 2 seconds with a capture.exe error msg
which means i then have to reboot or disable n reenable the tv card to use it again
ive reinstalled it numerous times but i get the same msg each time
any ideas?
i had the previous version that u can dl from hauppauge.com which allows u to use it for free with wintv cards and this never crashed argghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I just d/l it the other day and found a bug, for some reason it will stop after 10 seconds.. under certian setting with bitrate etc..

I get that too in the older version i was using
now ive installed the new version
i just get an error screen for capture.exe almost immediately so it doesn't record anything
ive never had any luck with this program and now the new version im having even less! grr
