  1. I just got a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB2. It comes with ULead DVD MovieFactory 3. When capturing from a analog camcorder, is it better to WinTV200 to record the signal as if it were a TV signal or use the Ulead and capture? Is there any difference?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I can't imagine there would be. Your using the device to capture. The software should be immaterial. Why not experiment though with a few test subjects????

(PS I can only really record with wintv2000 on my wintv pvr 250 and I get great caps)

  3. Ulead sucks at capture. It's a decent enough beginners authoring program though.
You have to jump through hoops just to change channels...
Start with WinTV2k, and move up to better capture software when you're ready.
