  1. Hello all,

I'm compiling a karaoke DVD from mpeg files using NeroVision Express 3 but how do I create separate chapters for each of the mpeg files? I thought that each mpeg file automatically becomes its own chapter but apparently not. I went to the "Create Chapters" section after highlighting all the files but it only brings up just one file where I would be creating chapters within 1 mpeg file (within 1 video) as opposed to creating chapters within the entire mpeg file selection. Can someone shed some light on this? Or am I just missing something?

    Thanks a bunch!

  2. u can use the auto route, lets say u load 5 mpeg files
Press MORE bottom at bottom.then CHECK create auto chapters...
all 5 files will have chapters ...

Or u can add chapters manually by working on each file
Highlight 1 file, then place the chapter points where ever .

Thanks Mo, but when I selected the "Create Chapters Automatically" under "More," it seemed to create chapters in between videos and at the end of each video. And if I manually select the chapter points, I can't seem to choose the start/end of each video as a chapter point. In addition, I also experienced playback problems on a couple of the videos as one would freeze seconds after it plays while another video was choppy. In addition, I couldn't change the audio tracks either (from left channel to right channel). A karaoke video is useless if I can't change the audio tracks to the one without vocals. I tested it by burning just a few videos onto a DVD+RW played on a standalone dvd player and it played with those aforementioned problems but it's not even readable when I try to play it on a DVD-ROM so I know that the playback issues are not related to the dvd player.

I basically just want to compile a karaoke DVD with a menu, chapters, and most importantly, selectable audio tracks. Is Nerovision Express just not the right answer for something like that? Does anyone have a better suggestion? Thanks!
