I have two hard drive choices. I have a 10K raptor I can capture to (has OS on it) and a 2X250 Gb sata set up (empty).
Which HD to I cap to? (dv format)

capture to your fastest/largest hard drive that doesn't have your os on it

I would go for the bigger drive, speed is not that necessary with DV transfers, but at a DV transfer rate of ~13GB/H HD space can be. Besides, best not to capture to your boot drive.
