multiple audio and dvd authoring

I have an Xvid that I want to author into a dvd. It contains two audio stream and a .srt file. I've demux everything and used DVD Architect 3.0 to author it. The audio file and the .srt file loaded up without a problem. But when the video was loaded, only 4 second of the movie load. I've tried testing my other avi, and they all loaded up fine. I've also tried convtering the video to another format like .wmv and divx, but error says "bad frame". Any clue on how to fix or to make this movie to possible? Oh yea, I was thinking about converting the original video first to another format first then demux. But would this screw up the audio? b/c it has two switchable audio.

try scan the avi with virtualdub, under video->scan video stream for errors.
