    HI EVERYONE!!

I decided to try thr tv-out function on my pc. when that function is enabled there are things that i can see on pc monitor but are not on tv and vice versa.

for example: i will see my desktop but not the start button but i can see them on the tv.

when opening wmp10 i can only see wmp10 on the tv not on pc monitor.

if i use divxplayer on pc i cant see it in both screens.

    any suggestions?

i checked the box that says "bring desktop to tv"

    thanks

The TV out feature will basically only serve you for watching video files, and maybe playing games.

Here's some things you should look at.

What type of video card do you have? Obtain latest drivers

Make sure your PC monitor is set to display 1, and your TV is set as display 2.

Make sure you have "clone" mode selected. Most people use this mide.

Make sure you have, (if it exists on your driver) "full screen video on tv" enabled.

the only thing i havent managed to do is watch films on the tv, i can play games and see iton tv but i when i use any player to watch dvd or media file what should be the image of the movie on the tv is black.

i can see the player and evrything else buty not the film.

on the pc monitor everything is as it should be.

    thanks.

ps. i have geforce fx5200 with the nview tecnology(2 monitors)

What you need to do to get full screen video is

Under I think overlay settings, or video.
I can't rememerb the name as I switched to a Radeon.
Look for "FULL SCREEN VIDEO ON SECONDARY DISPLAY"

It's definately there. I remember I had the same issue untill I set that.
