it's good to hear you didn't just punish your daughter in any standard fashion, but rather helped her understand exactly what it is you do all day.
I can't imaging complaining about mowing with a RIDING LAWNMOWER! I have almost an acre and it takes me almost 4 hours with a pushmower (i do tend to let it get a little out of hand before mowing the next time).
I actually find mowing (especially on a riding lawnmower) quite relaxing because you don't have to think! Just follow the lines and see instant results... -
