  1. I noticed there is a nerocheck that loads makes opening Nero and computer slow. When I disable it under msconfig it just opens so much quicker .
Does anyone know what it checks, when I disabled it I have not noticed any problem I want to see if it doesn't do anything important I disable it from registry?

According to several sites, Nerocheck looks for drivers that may conflict with Nero software. One site recommends leaving it running. Several sites say if Nero works OK then you don't currently have any driver conflicts and can safely turn it off. Turn it back on later if you start having problems with Nero.

I turned it off on my machine a couple of years ago and never had any problems. I recently dumped Nero altogether in favor of less-bloated software. I would recomend turning it off. You can run it manually from a shortcut every once and a while if you're concerned about conflicts.
