Hi,
I take DV with my sony handycam and do my editing with Pinnacle Studio DV (wipes, fades, titles, etc.) then I send my final product back out to my cam. Once I get the final product on my cam I then bring the finised product back in as one complete AVI. Then I send the AVI through Tmpge and create my mpeg to burn as a track on an XVCD. It works well but my problem is this, I can encode XVCD 352 x 240 with a bit rate of 2400 and the quality is good for use in my Sanyo 370. I want to jump the resolution up to 720 x 480 with the same 2400 bit rate but my result is always with Jagged (interlace lines) edges. What am I missing. Even if I use the SVCD template that comes stock with Tmpge I get these same lines when the movement in the picture is quick (with preview mode and final product shown through Win DVD). Please advise and Thanks for a great, great site.
