  1. I would like to make a simulated rear surround effect with sound forge.
    Having some sound come from behind.

    Sound forge can only do 2 channel AC3 encoding, and only if you have the AC3 plugin. You could use it to create a rear mono channel for encoding with a multi-channel encoder later. I use Vegas for multi-channel work becuase you can position a full set of channels. Sound Forge just isn't deisgned to do this.
