Say talk of this site in a couple of previous posts and thought I'd check it out. For previous posts see ...

Anyway, a while back I saw the end of the movie, "Charade" staring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. I though I'd add this movie to my Netflix Que but Netflix doesn't have this one. I found out that this film is in the public domain due to the failure to put the then required copyright notice in the released print.

I downloaded the MPEG-2 file (4.2-GB), which took around 13-hours, and burned it to DVD.

I found out about and got interested in this site through the above posts. I'm currently downloading the available Radar_Man serial, which is in 12 parts and was made in 1952. I thought it'd would be nice to burn this series to DVD and watch it with my 4-year old son. While 1952 is a little (NOT a lot) before my time, this serial does remind me of the types on programs show on TV (as re-runs) when I was growing up. Again, I thought it'd be nice to share this experience with my 4-year old son.

Again, www.archive.org is a great site and I'd recommend folks check it out.

Can you get to these and download them on-line? If so, do you the URL? Thanks.

They also have audio collections, like this one:

Their site REALLY SUCKS in terms of organization, so it takes a while to dig for various things, especially the download files.
