Hi,
does anybody knows what is the meaning of the "muxing overhead"? (It is appearing in the terminal window for example when muxing avi and audio files, and it is a percentage)
thanx

Muxing overhead is extra information inside the file describing how video and audio streams are arranged (muxed) in the file. This means the total file size is a little bit larger than the sum of the streams.
Analog to the operating expenses of a business, which are also called overhead.
