    ok call me a newb but i want to learn haha

    i have downloaded .avi files. what is my process in taking one of those complete movies and putting them on a DVD and then playing them in my DVD player. Like what conversions do i need to do for best quality and what software do i use.

    To make it easy with decent quality, considering the source, try VSO DivxToDVD. Or for quality, a decent encoder and some authoring software.
