Hi i have a little question.

Since there are programs to mimic a cd-drive (Virtual Cd, Daemon tools ect.) And there are programs thta mimic a printer and put the printed file into e PDF. I was woundering if there is a program that can mimic a capture device. Like loding a mov, avi, mpeg into the program and then you can select it as capture device (like unlead video or virtualdub)

    Thanks in advance.

So you'd be playing a file in said program but then you'd be able to tap into it as if if were a capture device ?

Can you go into a little more detail ?

... such as "I want to play an AVI file, then recapture it using <insert software here> ..."

I'm not exactly sure exactly what you want to do or why you want to do this with the information you've given so far

You should just be able to convert the file without having to recapture it ...
    If in doubt, Google it.

Ok. I have a mov file. And i want it to play in MSN. For a frend. But i doan't wanna send it to him. So i figured if i set this mov as a capture device i can show it to him without sending it.

What if he/she is using screen-cap software and captures what you show him/her anyway ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

Not trying to be offensive but your making no sense, to make the movie viewable you have to send the file or serve the data somehow. All of those examples you gave above still require data for them to work.
