I tried to convert two different avi files into mpg2 for authoring. I used TmpgEnc and its the first time this problem appeared. In first I thought it was a problem of the file but the same thing happened with the second avi too. Both avi files has great quality and play great, and all their codecs looks good in Video Inspector. After the conversion I get ONLY SOUND and the video inspector shows problems with codecs (not that there are codecs missing but the boxes are grey). The error message when try to pen the mpgs in VirtualDub is NO VIDEO FRAMES FOUND. It is REALLY frustrating waiting for the encoding for 7 to 9 hours and end up with no file.
Any suggestions?
