I am creating an interactive dvd/dvd-rom hybrid sort of like a few of the newest commercial dvds out on the market, (like Blade:Trinity) that have a fully-featured DVD portion, but also have a fully-interactive PC portion, that includes watching the movie while at the same time looking at pictures, discovering more info on the movie, etc. It has only just become possible with Macromedia Director 10 and can do some very awesome stuff. I've nearly completed the professional project, however, I have run into one small hitch, (which I consider major.)
In order to make a scrub bar for the interactive portion, I need time map information for the dvd. After research, I have learned it is stored in the VTS_TMAPTI section of the IFO file. Mine is completely blank.
I create all my projects using Sonic Scenarist and although I would consider myself a pretty advanced user of it, I have never recalled an option anywhere to create TMAP information. So, the question I have is, is there a way to create it in scenarist and if not, how does one go about creating the needed info? I haven't found any information regarding such a thing anywhere in my massive searches. The closest I came were DVD Rebuilder and/or DVD Shrink. DVD Shrink actually added something to the IFO, but it listed it as having 0 TMAPs, (so basically it was useless.)
