the coordinates in .srt format

My question is, is there any media player or subtitle filter that actually uses them?

Example:

00:00:12,345 --> 00:00:18,250 X1:147 X2:572 Y1:360 Y2:390

EDIT: Come to think of it, is there any other subtitle format that supports coordinates?

Hi,

as far as I know these coordinates define where the subs are displayed on a picture. Sometimes the subs are even on top of a picture. Even a software player needs to know where to place the subs, so it is my assumption that this is always used.
