I have an HE-AAC 5.1 file at 22050Hz. I want to convert it to AC3 5.1 so that I can put it onto DVD.

First, I created a 6ch WAV from the AAC using AACDecDrop. Next, I need to change the sampling rate to 48000. What tools do I use to do that? This 6ch WAV is 1.47GB and has a length of 1:39:52. I've tried many ways but nothing works correctly!

I have tried SSRC and SSRC_HP but it gives out corrupted files for some reason.

In Cool Edit Pro, after I converted the sampling rate to 48000, the WAV sounds fine but the file's length was shortened to 1:39:45.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

this reminds me to a filesize limit-> are you using a FAT or a NTFS partition? If FAT (of any kind ->16/32) your file size is limited to 2GB, after conversion you should expect a file size about ~3.2GB.

for working on 6WAVs I found a nice freeware app called Audio Cutter Cinema (you will find this app @ needfulthings
