  1. I have a few DVD-R's I want to get the audio to put on a CD-r. I think I could use my software to recrod, "what you hear" but it would be real time. Is it posable to just get the whole sound file?

I want to open it up in my wav. editor (Sound Forge) and edit some parts out to get it just the way I want, then burn it on a CD-R. How do I do this? Thank you, Chris.

  2. I use a roundabout way.
I use ReJig and demux the whole audio track.
I then transcode it to .wav in virtualdub-ac3.
    Edit as needed in Soundforge.

When you say audio from dvd-r, do you mean dvd video. if so, try dvd audio extractor.

I use either VirtualDub-MPEG2 or VirtualDubMod and just Save WAV and then use a sound editor to edit the Wave file.
