AutoGK is the best for me.

What's best for you ...... only you can answer that after trying them yourself
    If in doubt, Google it.

DR divx(i know some will say that is crap, but it never failed me)
autogk always crashes on me .

if you choose freeware i would pick Fairuse wizard (i like the sub position function, among others)

    hope it helps
I love it when a plan comes together!

So with dvd ripper you can just select certain parts to rip to avi? That's kinda what I'm looking for.

What about dvd to mpeg2? is that faster?

  10. Can I use any of these for VOB to DV conversion? They don't actually list VOB as their formats, which I've found in the past usually means they can't....
