  2. Try extracting, joining and saving the VOB's to a single .MPG file with Simple File Joiner (free)

    http://www.peretek.com/sfj.php

Then load the single .MPG into Womble for trimming. That may work for you. That's what I do, and it has worked great for me. I've run into a couple of issues similar to what you decribe when I've used Decrypter to extract and save the VOB files.

That didn't seem to help, it doesn't give any errors... but the output .mpg doesn't seem to be complete and wants to freeze when skipping through to check it... and in womble, It loads up, and i'll scroll from left to right, and it shows americas funniest videos, then i get to the end, and i'll scroll right to left, and it shows maximum exposure tv show... so its like showing 2 differ things when the slider bar is in the same spot... so I don't understand?

  4. It sounds like you're going to have to save each VOB separately to your hard drive (no need to use Decrypter or anything else... just click and drop in Windows).

Then try loading each separate VOB into Womble one at a time for editing. See how that goes.

  6. Not directly from the DVD... that usually causes problems for Womble (stuttering, etc.) Save the VOB's to your computer hard drive first. Then load them from your hard drive into Womble.

  7. I've had some luck using VOBBlanker as sometimes various problems are introduced to the front end of the video and the program can remove them.
Anymore, I start the recorder a few minutes early and record a little past the end and then trim the result. Nyah Levi
