    I have several old tv shows that i put onto DVD in mpeg1 format. I want to rearrange the order of the episodes to be in the correct order. I can rip them back to the hard drive, but i am unable to reencode the VOBs into mpeg or avi for splitting and rejoining. I would assume using something like DVD2AVI on the VOBs but that does not work. What software do I use to do this?

    Use something like PGCDemux to get your streams back. If they were authored as seperate titles, you might not need to edit anything.

    ReJig also does a fine job of demuxing VOBs.

    DGIndex (updated DVD2AVI) now supports MPEG-1.
