  1. I have an avi movie file that is in dts audio format. I'd like to re-encode this movie to a dvd but audio softwares that I have can't seem to extract this dts format. Is there a software that can read this avi with dts audio and extract and convert it into a compatible wave file so that I can encode the movie into a dvd? I've tried virtualmod and was able to extract the wave stream but none of the sound editors can read this dts wave file. Thanks in advance.

    why reencoding?
you can author your dts sound file in your dvd-video project with f.e. ifoedit!
is the demuxed audio from virtualdubmod correct -> checkit with f.e. gspot?

-> reencode your video stream with a mpeg2 encoder to MV2 (beware: dvd-video standard conform) mux/author your dts + mv2 to a new dvd-video project

if want to decode dts use tranzcode (I already posted it on this board)
