i got the movie madagascar on my computer and i decided to convert it from avi to vob(dvd) with winAVI. so i did and the conversion went fine but then when i tried to play the movie on my actual dvd player, the movie had no color at all just black and white. but when i play it on my dvd player on my computer it has color. why do i have no color when i play the movie on my dvd player. please help. i wasted three dvds on this movie and i only have 5 left.![]()

More than likely your DVD player (or possibly your TV) can only play NTSC material, whereas your AVI is probably PAL. This is generally the reason why you get black and white transmissions.
If in doubt, Google it.
