  1. Hi, I have two clips one is full dvd size and the other one is a vcd resolution, is it posible to author them with Ulead DVD workshop 2 without re-encode?
    Also, I want to know can I author two different bite rate but same resolution clips in a sigle DVD without re-encode? or any other s/w can do it?

    DVD WS will do that, I have 1.3 so these direction may differ. On the fi9nal burn menu there's a checkbox for "do not convert compliant files" By checking that it will only convert non-compliant files to whatever you picked for your disc properties.

    Note that VCD audio is 44khz and needs to be converted to 48khz. Also note you can even put 16:9 and 4:3 on the same disc, matter of fact you can put any combination of files with different resolutions, bitrates, aspects...... they only need to be compliant to begin with.

    Resolution, aspect ratio and audio need to be the same. Bitrate doesn't matter. If any of the first three are different, then you will need different titlesets

    Which DVD WS will take care of for you in the background, you just create the disc as you would any other.
