Hi, I have two clips one is full dvd size and the other one is a vcd resolution, is it posible to author them with Ulead DVD workshop 2 without re-encode?
Also, I want to know can I author two different bite rate but same resolution clips in a sigle DVD without re-encode? or any other s/w can do it?
Thx

DVD WS will do that, I have 1.3 so these direction may differ. On the fi9nal burn menu there's a checkbox for "do not convert compliant files" By checking that it will only convert non-compliant files to whatever you picked for your disc properties.
Note that VCD audio is 44khz and needs to be converted to 48khz. Also note you can even put 16:9 and 4:3 on the same disc, matter of fact you can put any combination of files with different resolutions, bitrates, aspects...... they only need to be compliant to begin with. -
