I have tried searching for an answer to this for the past couple of days. I have a DVD I am trying to back-up and for some reason it will read in both of my DVD players in my house a Pioneer DV-270 and a Samsung DVD-HD850, yet it will not read in either one of my DVD Burners. I have a Pioneer 108 and a 106 and neither one of them will recognize that the disc is in the drive. They can read other dvds I put in them. As a matter of fact I have never run into this before with any discs in the past, or since then. Just this one stubborn disc. I have checked the disc for finger prints and scratches and there are none to be found. I have also done firmware updates on both drives, Pioneer issue and hacked. Still no results. Any ideas?
Thanks
Lucas
Update: I forgot to mention that its not a DVD Recordable it is a Store Bought DVD Movie.
