I have severe problems producing new video in Studio 9+ when source material are interlaced and with different framerates (25 fps and 29.97 mixed).
First I tried framerate conversion of 29.97 fps clips to 25 fps with TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress but the embedded deinterlace in XPress 3 made the results terrible and jagging.
Any idea?

I wouldn't expect that you would need to remove interlacing. Just make sure all of the input files are the same frame rate. Also, some programs have issues if the input files are different resolutions.
