Is there anything you can do by connecting a firewire port to a TV or a DVD recorder with a firewire input? I ask because I am working on something I would like to put on DVD and am without a DVD burner (buy one is out of the question right now), however my cousin has a DVD recorder for his TV with a firewire port on front. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I mean attach my computer to the DVD recorder via Firewire. I have been having some trouble with getting my videos to transfer back to the DV tape, but if this doesn't work I can figure out what I'm doing wrong with that easily enough.

What software are you using? Did you "capture" to DV format?

I've been using Ulead Video Studio 8, I'm not doing any professional stuff just some home videos really. I captured to DV AVI and there is an option to export to DV in the program, but whenever I do it does not include the music or titles.
