    This seems to be a common problem with this device, but does it always disconnects from the firewire connection specially when there are output cables connected? now I can't output vidoe to vhs, does anyone has this device and has a workaround for this please.

    I'm on XP sp1
    overclocked 2400+ amd mobile
    512MB
    DFI lan party.

    Have you tried the ground fix? I have mentioned 'how to' in the review of this device. All said and done, this device is great when it works; crap otherwise. Also it does not disable macrovision (the newer ones).
