Hi,

I bought recently a Pioneer 109 and already made quite a few of DL burnings. I usually altere the ifos and made also mergings of dvd5 with Dvdremake pro. When RecordNow doesn't refuse to burn the file, I can see, as it is said in some threads, that it creates a non-seamless flag int the place where the layer break is.

As normally that program doesn't want dvds you've been tampering with what I make is an image of the folder where the dvd is and then burn the iso with Dvd Decrypter. My Pioneer standalone doesn't have problems to read the result, even if it doesn't exist in the dvd structure that non-seamless flag. So I have made almost a dozen of DL mergings of 2 dvd5, converted to iso and burned with decrypter. I have checked that I can see perfectly both films in each dvd without freezings or weird behaviours.

But today I made my first merging of 3 dvds and something went wrong. I can't read the burned dvd.

I suppose it has to do with the fact that layer 0 can't be smaller that layer 1.
This is the layer information of the burning with decrypter:

Layer 0 Sectors: 2.086.912 (2,087E8%)
Layer 1 Sectors: 4.292.880.385 (-2,087E8%)

Till now, in every of my burnings with Decrypter, both layers were equal. I think because this DL dvd has inside three differents dvds the programm has put the layer at the end of the first one without calculating a better place.

Please, could anyone tell me how could I calculate the appropriate sector (for instance, at the beginning of one chapter in the second dvd of the three dvds that has in it) in order to indicate Decrypter to use a specific place to put the layer break? I'll have to be sure also that I choose one sector that guarantees that the first layer is equal or greater than the second.

Thanks in advance
