  1. I downloaded VSO Divx to DVD,as i wanted to convert some Divx files of programme episodes to put them on DVD. It works and converts the files ok,although I can only convert 1 episode at a time, and once it's done,it creates a VIDEO_TS folder.I can burn this folder to disc, but it is a waste of space if the outputted file is 1GB,and the DVD is 4.7GB. At this size,i could theoretically get 4 onto 1 disc, which is what i am trying to achieve.
How can i put more than one VIDEO_TS folder onto a DVD ? Can't be done, can it? If i have 4 VIDEO_TS folders @ 1GB each, can i somehow put them all onto one disc?

I use TMPGenc DVD Author 1.6 to make discs, but how can i use more than one VIDEO_TS folder to fill up the disc?
It would be easier if it outputted the converted file as an MPEG file.

I can't seem to find any programs which convert FROM Divx to MPEG2,but i found ones which do the opposite.
Are there any one-step methods to convert Divx to MPEg2 ? (ie,without using several programs)

    cheers

VSO DivXtoDVD can do more than one. Click the browse button (the one that looks like a folder), highlight a file, click Open. Simply repeat for each AVI you want to add to your disc. You'll see each file listed in the "source file" window, in the order you added them. Click "convert" and go grab a beer while it makes one VIDEO_TS folder out of all your selected AVI's.

Note: All the AVI files you want to make into your single disc should probably be in the same folder before you start adding them.

  3. You can put more than one VIDEO_TS file on a DVD using DVDshrink.

Open up shrink and click on reauthor, you can then add your VIDEO_TS folders one by one by selecting each folder with the DVD browser on the right of the screen. Open up the folder and you will see a Title, just drag the title to the window on the left called 'Re-authored DVD'.
You can then output as an ISO image and burn to disc with DVDdecrypter.

If you know how to use TMPGEnc DVD Author, then all you need to do is use the Add DVD Video button instead of the Add File button. Add each VIDEO_TS folder in turn, then create your menu, and job's right.
    If in doubt, Google it.
