    When I try to preview a ac3 encode using Soft Encode, I get no sound. I have to devices to shoose from, "Microsoft Sound Mapper" and "SoundMAX Digital Audio" I've tried both of course, still no sound.

    But the encodes do work.

    Does anyone how to fix/enable sound preview's with SoftEncode?

    You need a software AC3 decoder. You usually get one with a software DVD player. Otherwise try AC3 ACM Decompressor or AC3 Filter.
