Help with names of two movie titles

Guys my wife and I are straining our brains trying to find out the names of two movie titles; one more recent than the other.

The most recent one actually has a part two. Part one was about 4 or 5 Classmates that were supposed to take a plane flight somewhere, but one of the students had this vision that the plane was gonna blow up and he freaked out causing his classmates to freak out and they got off the flight. Then the plane took off and shortly after it blew up.

The older movie had Mario Van Peoples in it I think. It was about this very pretty lady who was also a monster. When she reveals herself as the beast to certain people, she'd let them go if they promised not to tell anyone about her or it. The monster would come back and kill those that did tell others about it.

Anyway, the monster showed itself to Mario Van Peoples, he promised not to tell and the beast let him go.

Later he met the lady that was actually the beast. They went out on dates and eventually fell in love and got married; I think they also had kids together. After about 10 years had passed, Mario felt that it was safe to tell his wife, (who was actually the monster), about the encounter that he had with the beast. When she realized what he was trying to do, she begged him not to tell her, but he insisted that he tell. So he did; but I don't remeber what happened after that.


Please, if anyone knows the names of these two movies, please tell me. This ******* killing me.

I believe you're talking about "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie" in which the story is one of 3 or 4 mini-stories within the flick, but Mario wasn't in it.

Are you sure that Mario wasn't in this flick that I'm speaking of? I'l do a google on "Tales from the Darkside" and see what I come up with.

From the producers of "Creepshow 1 & 2" gives us another fine set of bone-chilling horror stories. Based on the popular 80's horror show, this deals with a wicked modern witch ( played by Deborah Harry) who plans of roasting a little boy ( played by a young Matthew Lawrence), while she's preparing he reads her 3 horror stories from a book. The first story is called " Lot 249" in which college students find a ancient scroll that brings a Egyptian mummy to violent life, the second one called " The Cat from Hell" is about a millionaire who is taunted by his pet killer cat that has killed 3 people in the house and hires an assassin to kill it.
Then the last story which is probably the best is called " Lover's Vow" which deals with a artist named " Preston" who was very unsuccessful with his agent until one night he witness the death of friend done by a gargoyle, the creature spares his life if Preston keeps a promise of not telling anyone else what he has seen. He meets a lovely chick, does the dirty deed with her, falls in love with her and marries her, she even gives him big success but can Preston keep his mouth shut forever?

That's right, and in the end, after he told her the thruth, she starts to scream and the gargoyle arises from inside her tearing the human flesh apart. She kills him and the two sons they have became gargoyles too, and fly to an X building and live there forever. In the final scene you see the big gargoyle protecting two little gargoyles benneath her. It was a pretty good movie.
