  1. Ok. I'm veeeery new to this VCD stuff. You could say I know very little. So, thing is, I borrowed a couple of VCDs from my friend and tried to watch it at home, but my DVD player didn't play the VCDs. It was reading it as Compact Disks and everytime I hit play, it started reading the VCD, but then ejected it. I know the most obvious reason to this is that, probably, my DVD player doesn;t read VCDs. But I'm posting here because I beleive there must be other reasons. Maybe tehre are other ways to make VCDs that would be acceptable in my DVD player? Anyway, I really need some help in this!! Thanks.

  3. first thing you should do is check your dvd player's compatibility with vcd's..if your dvd player DOES play vcds then there might be a certain layer colour it might read(some dvd players only read certain colours). just click on 'dvd players' under the 'other' section to your left and see what your dvd player accepts
