Well I just created an avi with vorbis audio via ffmpeg and VDubMod wasn't able to extract anything usable. AVIMuxGUI which claims to support vorbis in avi just crashed and the only thing that could playback the avi was ffplay.

Perhaps this was created via an old NanDub build? Or via the ACM vorbis encoder? If so I would suggest that you just delete it.

SKIPTRACER do you have lamemp3 plugin? I usually save not demux the audio with lame mp3 in the compression settings of virtualdubmod. Then add the new audio file back to vdubmod and save in direct stream copy. Never had sync issues.

What i would recomend is demux using AVIMuxGUI (very easy to learn once u get the hang of it) once demuxed save the video w/o the audio. Make sure to keep backup. Convert the audio Via besweet or any Audio converter (dbpoweramp i think can) then remux via AVIMuxGUI

Note: if their are any audio sync problems open up Media Player Classic, load the .avi with the sync prob
    view>options>Filters>audio switcher>

Check "audio time-shift (ms)" then add the amount of ms the audio is out of sync by

    +1 is later
    -1 is earlier

    and remeber 1000ms = 1 second

    hope this helps.
