    im looking help for my dvd recorder and want to know if there any programs or anything that will help stop the " recording prohibited" from happening.

    What are you trying to record?
    I've had the Sanyo for 9 months and have never seen that.
    You do know that these devices will not let you copy Macrovision encoded DVD's or VHS tapes.

    If the VHS tapes are Macrovision encoded (copy protected) you won't be able to copy them.
    A video stabilizer may or may not work. Some of them are junk.
