  1. Hey gang,

Just wondering if Vegas 6 helps address the DV date/time stamp thing. Anyone?

    Thanks,
    Lex

p.s. I've tried about 4 3rd party date/time stamps and really don't care for them. There's a plugin for Adobe Premier I believe, but I don't use Premier.

If you don't need ti time stamp embeded you can create subtitles out of the files instead. Just author them as forced. Or check your camera settings and embed the timestamp into the video on transfer.

  3. guns1inger,

Can you explain making subtitles and "author them as forced"? I use a Canon Elura 80 and I've tried different settings and still don't capture time stamp when capture with Vegas 5.
