Is there ANY possible way in increasing the volume of an mpeg/mpg file WITHOUT damaging or tampering with the video itself?

  2. Demultiplex the audio and video, adjust the audio, then multiplex them back together. You can use something like TMPGEnc.

Yep, if you don't want to tamper with the file at all, then the Volume Control is the only way.

It really isn't that hard to demux, increase volume then remux though.
    If in doubt, Google it.

sorry about not being clear, but i tried the first method but the file stopped demultiplexing after 26%, so I was wondering if there was another way or another possible software

  7. Demux the m2v only with Tmpgencplus. Use Goldwave to extract the audio into wave, adjust the volume. Convert the wave with Besweet or ffmpeggui to mp2/ac3.
    Remux with Tmpgenc.
