    Hi all,

    I downloaded a TV episode last night from newsgroups, and am trying to burn to dvd.

    Its an hdtv broadcast and its an avi file about 700mb. I used ulead videostudio, and tried to convert to a dvd mpeg2 file, but when it finished it was over 4.7gb!

    i cant just burn the avi file, as my player wont recognise it.

    Is there a way that this can be done? Thanks in advance.

    I've gotten some advise else where, but when i use this avi2dvd program, i get 2 mpeg files... 1 with all but 1 minute of the end of the episode

    Is there an easy conversion tool that this can be done with?
