First Knight - Richard Gere as Lancelot, Sean Connery with the worst dialogue ever written, and no Excalibur. What was the point ?

Home Alone 1 - 25. Actually, I only sat through the first one because my wife's old school friends wanted to see it. I wanted to kill them.

    Superman

Everything by Oliver Stone and/or Brian dePalma. I recently rewatched Scarface. I hadn't seen it in years. Can't believe I ever wasted the time on it.

Heat - loudest movie I have ever sat through. Don't know why, but it just never clicked. For what is touted as one of the great gunfights of modern cinema, all I can remember is being bored out of my head by the whole thing.

Sponge Bob the movie (just a stretched single episode)
The bugs bunny one with Brendan Fraser in it.
    (Yes I have young kids)
Yeah and all three of the Lord of the Rings movies were long winded crap. (Mind you the books were to)

Parts of Shrek 2 were excellent, but overall I was disappointed. Two of my favorite 'kids movies' are THE IRON GIANT and MONSTERS, INC.

one film that had great reviews(great sequel, better than the first, etc) and when i watched it was really crap, without a doubt is:

    Bourne supremacy
I love it when a plan comes together!

I know this is an old post but I just found it so I'm trying to revive it.

The worst movie I ever saw considering the hype surrounding it?
    Jacob's Ladder

    ... talk about a suck @$$ movie!

I felt the same way when I first saw it. Watched it again recently - it's still not a great film, but better than I remembered.

Highlander is another film I didn't get. It felt cheap, the effects were crap, Sean Connery as a Spaniard ?, and the sequels were completely incomprehensible. Yet I know people who worship this film and know all the dialogue.

  29. 5th Element: loathed it at first (..and I'm a fan of Luc Besson) but saw it a second time, and a third, and a fourth.... now consider it a great film!

Austin Powers: I could not stand it, although I thought Goldmember was ok

Solaris (Russian original): Why is this film so popular? It threatened to put me in a coma something terrible like.

Zombie: WTF was Fulci thinking? Talk about overrated IMO.

Titanic (I have to mention this again) : Dreadful, truly dreadful as far as I was concerned. A celluloid health hazard.

BTW I loved Highlander - great film, great soundtrack, great premise (although the sequels sucked) :P

Jacob's Ladder? You bumped an old thread to bring up Jacob's Ladder? I mean, who talks about it? Nobody I've mentioned it to has ever heard of it. I liked it.

My movie would have to be 300. I have never walked out on a movie or ever thought I would but within half an hour of putting it in the DVD player I just could not take it anymore.

Anyone else notice that new disturbing trend of men yelling out? "THIS.IS.SPARTA!!!!!!" "I.AM.BEOWULF!!!!!!"
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?
