Question on audio when using Dvd shrink

Does the quality of the audio go down when i use Dvd Shrink? ie if im Shrinking a movie say to 65% does that mean the audio quality is reduced by 65% as well i feel like sometimes i need to adjust the audio up and down while watching my backup copies

Nope. Just the video is reconverted.

Any transcoder will not alter the audio in any way, including dvd shrink. The audio remains untouched.
