  1. Hi,
I need to know what is the best software for creating subtitles on a DVD.
I just want something simple to use that is guarenteed to work.

I have a 17min video that needs translating and i have already set up the relevant timings in subtitle workshop and initially exported it as srt but i guess it can export to anything.

Ideally i would like 5 subtitle options for the user to choose from, but if this is not possible i can probably convince my boss to have only one language version.

It all seems very confusing after briefly looking into what it involves i.e converting it into one format and then another and another and seems to be a bit of hit and miss from what i have seen from other user comments.

Is there no software i can just simply drop the subtitles into and have a standard compliant DVD that is guarenteed to function on all players?

I have breifly experimented with the trial version of DVD composer but it keeps crashing for unknown reasons.

Again, i am not too fussed about menus or bells and whistles, i just need to add subtitles to an existing DVD.

    Any reconmendations would be great.

    Thanks
