    When I am trying to capture PAL VHS with my Fly Video EZ/98 card the resolution 352x240 looks disproportionately long view by vertical line (320x240 or 384x288 are close to perfect). How to avoid it?

    i'd say you answered your own question. what are you trying to do? if the answer is vcd then just encode 352x288 @ 25fps. most dvdplayers will handle the ntsc conversion
