Anyone seen TDK Armor Plated or Maxell BroadCast Quality DVD-R locally at a brick and mortor store in the USA ?
Cant find any. I tried (Here in WA) BestBuy, Compusa, Frys, Staples, OfficeDepot, OfficeMax, CircuitCity, Sears, Walmart, FredMeyrs, Costco, SAMs Club, Walgreens, Bartell Drugs, PC Club, CompuCare.

because there is a lot of media thats not label as scratch resisnt that turns out to be more then others

I don't know if this will help you, but WalMart sells some thin plastic covers that snap onto the bottom surface of cds and dvds that will protect from scratches. I don't remember the name of them, but they come in a flat metal can.

A while back I purchased TDK Armor Plated (now Durabis) 2x DVD-R media at Circuit City (they were 5 packs in jewel case, $10 each, on clearance).
That was several months ago though, so if they still carry them, I don't know.Some people say dog is mans best friend. I say that man is dog's best slave... At least that is what my dogs think. -
Still no luck for DVD-R.....
I did find some Maxell BroadCast Quality DVD+R media at Walmart located Covington, WA. They are 3pk with black cases for $3.94 each.
