Hello!
I'm working with dvdmaestro. I have a 4400 MB project, with 12 menus and 21 video assets. All these video assets have been created with TMPGEnc with no "buffer underflow" errors in those encodings.
When I compile with DVDMaestro I get the "During Muxing at least one instance of Buffer under-flow was detected. This is due to exceeding the Max. Bitrate" error. However, if I remove 3 specific video assets there is no error message. If I remove all the video assets but these 3 specific video assets, there is neither error message. Of course, When I try to multiplex these assets with TMPGEnc... no problem.
I think it is an authoring problem. Do you have any idea?
Thanks.

Isn't the "Buffer Underflow" message just a warning - and not an error? I've received these before (- as warnings), but like you, I examined all imported assets and found no problems.
IIRC, I traced them to VBV underflows - important for MPEG1 encodes, but not that important for MPEG2 encodes.
I just ended up ignoring the message, and everything worked just fine.ICBM target coordinates:

You're right, is a warning, not an error. The DVD seems to be ok.
To be completely sure, is there any software to test the VBV underflow of a MPEG video?
Thanks for your answer.
