I am working on a friends computer that needs wiped and 98 put back on it, the problem is..the floppy drive is some weird combo drive (like floppy and zip drive all in one) and has a IDE interface. All my floppy drives that I have laying around have a smaller connector and what Im wondering is if I can take a 98 bootdisk, and make it into a bootable CD and then set the options in the bios to boot from that and do the fdisk and format and setup like that? Any answers would be appreciated! Thanks

If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

Yes, you can do it exactly that way (create iso of bootdisk, burn, then boot from it).

Actually, if you have Nero, there's an option to make a bootable CD.
Alternately, you can use WinISO. -
