Anyone know if it's possible to do the following with one of these:
1> Remove macrovision?
2> Play back DIVX, AVI,MOV etc via the TV out?
Cheers

i dont have the slightest idea how the videologic works. myself i have a geforce 2 mx 400 for TV out, and a Delta DVD drive.
the DVD drive was the cheapest available, thus it was to expensive to implant macrovision and regioshit. playback of divx, avi, mov? well, i just play-back my screen, so whatever's on it is on my TV.
What you should try (in my newbee opinion) is to run the TV as a secondary monitor and voila. as for macrovision, there aint any anymore after that.
Good Luck

Unfortuatly, the player software doesn't seem to want to send AVI, DIVX etc files to the video output at all - they are displayed on the monitor OK, but the TV output just shows a black screen - VCD, DVD etc works fine though. -
the MPEG chipset on the card can ONLY decode MPEG1 and MPEG2, not divx and avi. Avi and divx you can only watch on your tv with a tvout graphiccard.

Just got an email from the Videologic tech support people - they said the same, looks like its back to converting to VCD and playing those until I can afford a new graphics card!
