  1. Hey,

For the past few days I've been coverting mpegs and avis into VideoCDs using TMPGEnc. However today I started experiencing a problem with one movie. The movie is 15 minutes long but TMPGEnc will shutdown at 10:59 (source position).

I am using WinXp Pro so when it gets to 10:59 it gives me that the program must be shut down and would you like to send an error report to MS.

I have checked the file and it is the correct size, format, and length, It also has no hiccups or anything at or around the 10:59 mark.

Is there any suggestions? Would deleting TMPGEnc and re downloading it to another hard drive possibly work??

I'm at a lost as to why it is only doing it with this video

  2. i had same problem and it was because the audio was missing on my avi file after that point. check a little further after to make sure your audio is still there. have you tried any of the avi fix programs under tools on the left?

    Hi

This is the first of many you will download. There are quite a few avi movies with problems. You need to scan the source before you try to convert it.

My favorite is "vdub-mp3-freeze.exe" it can be used to find freeze frames, a log is made on drive c, which you can view then delete the problem frames.
