  1. Ok, so I have the new NIN album With Teeth in that dualdisc format. I tried to play it in my comp but it seems that its not decoding correctly. Windows media player played the dvda side but it played all of the sound from each speaker (i have a 5.1 setup). Is there a better program I can use to play the album with on my comp?
Boy do I love my avatar!

I thought you needed a compatable sound card to play DVD-Audio too (like the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 or above)?

Technically, yes you do need a decidated sound card.

Software players such as WinDVD 6 and PowerDVD 6 that are capable of playing DVD Audio downsample the audio to 16 bit/48 kHz. Unless your sound card supports it, you wont get true 24 bit/192 kHz (for stereo) or 24 bit/96 kHz (for surround) playback.
