Almost always. Sometimes the Commentaries are better than the movie. You can learn alot of details that don't come out, even in the "making of" videos. Did you know that the font used on the signs on Babylon 5 used the standard "Stop.ttf"? If its a movie I really like I'll watch the movie and then watch it right away with the commentaries. If the movie isn't all that good I'll go to the commentaries right away. I can go to the theater to see the movie, I have to wait for the DVD for the Commentaries If you are at all interested in improving your own videos the commentaries are a great resource to learn from.

    Hi,

    You're joking right??????

Where have you been for the last 8 or 9 years????

    Kevin
Nope, not joking. In the last 8 or 9 years, I have actually purchased 1 (one) DVD, and rented 0 (zero).
I am however, a TV addict!

What about all his TV captures that he's made DVDs out of ?

There is much, much more to DVD than store-boughts
    If in doubt, Google it.

Plus dvd rom material. Though scant in games there are things like encarta dvd and stuff like that.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

Sorry yoda313, we're not talking about computer dvd rom drive, but rather about standalone dvd player so that rules out all that you said. By the way, yoda313, your sig is out of date :P

    jimmalenko, point noted.

The results of this poll merely confirm my theory that what the majority of DVD buyers want is the basic movie with the best possible picture and sound and no extras* and they want it much sooner and much cheaper than at present.

*By extras I don't mean deleted footage that should never have been cut from the theatrical release in the first place.

  11. Hardly ever watch the extra footage.
